2 Reactions:

  1. I love this series!
It took me a while to get into Michael Winslow taking Philip Michael Thomas’ role but all in all I agree that I enjoy the rapport between Bud Spencer and Winslow much better.
PMT was a little off the wall although I thought it was mostly fun- the accent seemed too manic for me though and it became a head scratcher.
I heard that the reason PMT left the show after season 1 was because he produced his first film “Miami Shakedown" (as well as doing the music and acting in the starring role).
It was hinted at that the series came to an end after season 2 due to the destruction caused by hurricane Andrew in 1992.
I couldn’t agree more that “Indians” (which according to my DVD set was the final episode) was just terrible and a sad sendoff to a great series.
Thanks for the reviews- never would I think that anyone else in the USA knew about this amazing show!
